The Streets of Bowdon Photography Project
Hello, and thanks for dropping by. The aim of this personal urban photography project is to create a record of all the 148 named streets and developments in the former township of Bowdon, now part of Altrincham in the borough of Trafford, Greater Manchester (click here to see some area maps of Bowdon or here for a street map).
It's still my intention of gradually compiling a portfolio of every street in every season, and I'll try and make the photos a bit more "creative" next time around! Thanks for all your supportive comments so far, and do keep your eyes peeled for a geezer in a high-vis vest with a camera. He's perfectly harmless.
This website continues to be developed, so every time you visit it there may be something new to see. It seems to work best with Google Chrome.

Judging by the click figures, the site is becoming more widely known every month. Some people contact me to ask for help with research into the history of their antecedents who used to live in Bowdon.
